As per reports, Cadent Gas has closed a section of Victoria Road in Chelmsford to carry out emergency underground gas infrastructure repairs on Monday (16 February).

• The affected stretch is between Riverside Leisure Centre and Springfield Road in Chelmsford city centre, and traffic congestion has been reported across surrounding routes as vehicles are diverted.
• Disruption is expected to continue beyond Monday (16 February) while repair operations remain active.
