As per reports, a four-car chain collision occurred at around 7.8 kilometres eastbound portion of Taiwan Highway 88 near the Daliao Interchange, on Thursday (13 March) afternoon.

• The Linyuan Branch received a report at around 1500 hours about the car accident, while police officers from the Daliao Station and the Traffic Squad arrived at the scene immediately to handle the accident and redirect the traffic.
• The accident resulted in a traffic jam from Daliao Interchange to Fengshan Interchange, which was cleared by around 1622 hours.
