As per reports, measles cases have reached the highest number of infections nationwide in six years in Australia. The National Notifiable Disease Surveillance System shows 71 measles cases have been reported across the country in 2025 so far.

In 2025, Victoria had recorded 26 infections, New South Wales 21, and Western Australia 18.
