According to reports, a rise in jaundice cases has been reported in the Kalamassery municipality of Ernakulam. A total of 29 cases have been reported since Friday (20 December). High alert has been issued in wards 10, 12, and 13 on Friday (20 December) following a meeting with the health department.
• The authorities are carrying out inspection and awareness campaigns in business establishments, hotels and homes in the area.
• A special medical camp has been organized in the Ernakulam Kalamassery municipality limits.
