As per reports, in Bulgaria 376 new cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the last 24 hours till Wednesday (03 January), with nine reported deaths and 180 recoveries. Hospital admissions included 61 new cases, bringing the current number of hospitalized individuals to 365, with 27 in intensive care.
The director of the National Centre of Infectious and Parasitic Diseases warns of underreporting, emphasizing the potential for increased infection rate. Incidence rates in Sofia and Gabrovo exceed 60 cases per 100,000, with the national average at 35 cases per 100,000.
