As per reports, a series of warning strikes occurred in central retail warehouses in the Hanover region on Thursday (28 March). The Vereinte Dienstleistungsgewerkschaft (ver.di or United Services Union) is also organizing an Easter strike in the state capital.
• Up to 180 participants gathered on Goseriedeplatz in Hanover during the morning hours on the same day. Employees nationwide were urged to cease work due to a collective bargaining dispute with the German Trade Association (HDE).
• Earlier strikes occurred at a logistics center in Barsinghausen and two central warehouses in the Hanover region.
