As per reports, the Italian Ministry of Health has placed 25 of the 27 monitored cities under a Level Three red heat alert for Monday (03 August) as high temperatures continue across Italy.

• The warning remains in effect throughout the day, although specific activation and conclusion times were not published in the available bulletin. Messina and Reggio Calabria are scheduled to remain under a Level One yellow alert.
• On Sunday (02 August), Level Three red alerts are scheduled for Bolzano, Campobasso, Civitavecchia, Florence, Frosinone, Latina, Perugia, Rieti, Rome, Turin, Viterbo, Bologna, Brescia, Cagliari, Milan, Naples, Pescara, Venice, Verona, Catania, Genoa, Palermo and Trieste. Ancona and Bari are scheduled to move to Level Three on Monday (03 August), bringing the total to 25 cities.
