Red flag warning issued in parts of North Dakota through Sunday (15 September)

Risk level: Low Country: United States

As per reports, fire danger remains high across much of western North Dakota through this week until Sunday (15 September), with the National Weather Service issuing red flag warnings for several counties in the state.

Winds that previously helped to disperse smoke from the state have now increased the fire risk by drying out vegetation, compounded by relatively low humidity levels.
