According to reports, the Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) has issued rainstorm and flood warning across Victoria, on Sunday (07 January).

• Emergency services have stated that the extreme weather event will affect areas across all of Victoria and have warned that events related to flash flooding and thunderstorms were highly likely, on Sunday (07 January) going into Monday (08 January).
• The warnings are also stated to cover parts of Melbourne, including the Yarra River downstream of Coldstream.
• Heavy rainfall is expected in North East and parts of Northern Country, North Central and East Gippsland Forecast Districts.
• Flash-flood warning has also been issued for Echuca, Shepparton, Wodonga, Wangaratta, Bright and Falls Creek areas.
