The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) has stated that rainfall is expected in parts of Mindanao due to the intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ) on Tuesday (22 April).
• The Davao Region, Sarangani, South Cotabato, Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi will experience cloudy skies with scattered rainfall and thunderstorms due to the ITCZ. There is a possibility of flash floods or landslides resulting from moderate to at times heavy rainfall.
• The rest of Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainfall or thunderstorms, also caused by the ITCZ. Severe thunderstorms may lead to possible flash floods or landslides.
• Metro Manila and the rest of the country will observe partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainfall or thunderstorms, influenced by easterlies. Flash floods or landslides may occur during periods of severe thunderstorms.
