As per reports, rainfall and isolated thunderstorms are forecast to return across Denmark from Wednesday (22 July), following comparatively dry and warmer conditions on Monday (20 July) and Tuesday (21 July).

• The precise onset and duration of rainfall have not been specified. The Danish Meteorological Institute expects weather conditions to become more unsettled from Wednesday (22 July), with rainfall anticipated across parts of Jutland, Funen, Zealand, Bornholm and the major Danish islands.
• Daytime temperatures may decline from approximately 23 degrees Celsius to between 15 degrees Celsius and 18 degrees Celsius by Thursday (23 July).
• The change is associated with low pressure and frontal activity affecting Denmark and adjacent waters. Strong winds and unstable marine conditions may affect the Southern Baltic Sea, the Danish Belts, the Øresund and the Kattegat, potentially disrupting ferry and commercial maritime operations.
