As per reports, Network Rail has scheduled essential engineering work on the Midland Main Line which will impact railway services between Bedford and London over two weekends from Saturday (24 May) to Sunday (25 May) and again from Saturday (31 May) to Sunday (01 June).
• East Midlands Railway and Thameslink services will be suspended with railway replacement buses operating on affected routes
• The upgrades include overhead line electrification, drainage improvements and track maintenance to enhance long-term reliability
