As per reports, the new terminal of Pune airport will be inaugurated on Sunday (10 March) virtually by Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi through videoconferencing. The chief minister will attend the event at the Pune Airport. However, the operations at the new terminal will begin after four to five weeks. The new terminal building will have a passenger handling capacity of 12 million passengers per annum, an increase from the current capacity of 7.2 million passengers per annum.
