Public transport schedule changes announced from Saturday (16 May)

As per reports, from Saturday (16 May), several bus routes across London are scheduled to operate under temporary timetables, revised frequencies, and route diversions due to ongoing infrastructure works, road closures, and traffic management measures. The affected routes include 06, 30, 46, 95, 130, 132, 135, 223, 277, N277, 390, 433, D7, N550, and U9.

• Route 06 services are scheduled to operate at reduced daytime frequencies of every 8 minutes to 9 minutes from Monday to Saturday and every 11 minutes during evening hours and Sundays due to the closure of the Piccadilly Underpass. Night services are expected to remain unaffected.
• Route 30 services are expected to operate every 11 minutes during daytime hours from Monday to Saturday due to the roadworks scheduled on Pentonville Road. However, evening hours and Sunday services are not expected to change.
• Route 46 is anticipated to operate every 13 minutes during daytime hours from Monday to Saturday due to ongoing road works and traffic conditions along the corridor.
• Route 95 services are expected to operate every 14 minutes during daytime periods from Monday to Friday due to work on Lady Margaret Road. Weekend and evening hours frequencies are expected to remain unchanged.
• Routes 130 and U9 are expected to operate with revised journey times from Saturday (16 May) in order to align with current traffic conditions and congestion levels.
• Route 132 is scheduled to return to a frequency of every 10 minutes during daytime periods from Monday to Saturday and every 15 minutes during evening hours and Sundays.
• Route 135 is expected to divert towards Crossharbour from Canada Square due to the closure of Upper Bank Street between North Colonnade and South Colonnade. No bus stops are expected to be omitted or additionally served. The route frequency is anticipated to reduce from every 10 minutes to every 11 minutes during Monday to Saturday daytime operations, and evening hours and Sunday schedules are expected to remain unchanged.
• Routes 277, N277, D7, and N550 are expected to be diverted towards their respective destinations from Canada Square via North and South Colonnade to Upper Bank Street. No bus stops are expected to be missed or additionally served during the diversion period.
• Route 223 is anticipated to operate every 23 minutes during Monday to Friday during daytime periods due to HS2-related infrastructure works affecting the route corridor.
• Route 390 is also expected to be impacted by the Piccadilly Underpass closure and is scheduled to operate every 11 minutes during daytime and evening periods from Saturday (16 May).
• Route 433 is expected to operate under a revised timetable daily, with only minor timing adjustments anticipated.
• Transport authorities have advised passengers to review updated schedules and route information prior to travel and to allow additional journey time due to potential congestion, increased passenger demand, and temporary operational adjustments.
