As per reports, significant disruption to public transportation is expected across multiple lines in the Paris region on Sunday (09 February), due to scheduled maintenance and modernization works.
• On Metro Line 14, the entire line will be completely closed all day Sunday (09 February) due to the addition and testing of new control systems. This line, which was recently extended to Saint-Denis in the north and Orly Airport in the south, requires a full shutdown for system updates. A replacement bus service will operate only within Paris-intramuros, between Gare de Lyon and Olympiades Station. Travellers heading to Orly Airport are advised to use the Orlyval from Antony RER station or the Orlybus, which will continue to operate until early March.
• On the RER B line, due to modernization work on the northern rail network, traffic will be interrupted all day on Sunday (09 February) between Le Bourget and Aulnay-sous-Bois stations. A replacement bus service will cover the closed section, and travelers to Roissy-Charles de Gaulle Airport should allow additional travel time. On RER C, minimal disruptions are expected, with the line operating normally on most branches. However, service will be interrupted between Paris-Austerlitz and the southern termini of Dourdan and Etampes from 2300 hours (local time) on Sunday (09 February), with replacement buses operating beyond this schedule.
• On RER D, maintenance work will reduce train frequency between Goussainville and Melun throughout Saturday (08 February) and Sunday (09 February). Additionally, trains travelling from Paris to Melun will bypass the stations of Maisons-Alfort, Vert de Maisons, Créteil-Pompadour, and Villeneuve-Triage.
• For Transilien services, Line K will experience a complete traffic stop all day Sunday (09 February) between Paris-Nord Station and Mitry-Claye due to ongoing work on the northern section, with buses serving all stations from Paris to Dammartin. On Line P, traffic on the Paris-Coulommiers branch will be interrupted from 2230 hours (local time) on both Saturday (08 February) and Sunday (09 February) evenings. The Paris/Meaux/Château-Thierry axis will be closed all day Saturday (08 February) and Sunday (09 February) until 1545 hours (local time) for Meaux and 1600 hours (local time) for Château-Thierry.
• Replacement buses will operate between Château-Thierry and Meaux, Meaux and RER A at Torcy, and Meaux and RER E at Chelles-Gournay. On Line R, service will be interrupted all weekend between Moret-Veneux-les-Sablons and the Montereau terminus, with buses covering the closed section.
