As per reports, supporters and opponents assembled outside the Legislative Yuan in Taipei on Friday (21 June), as lawmakers prepared to reconsider related amendment bills. Supporters of the bills jointly crafted by Kuomintang (KMT) and Taiwan People’s Party (TPP) lawmakers arrived in tour buses and staged protests on the Linsen South Road and Qingdao East Road. More than 1000 people gathered to protest.
