Protests expected in Bucharest on Monday (14 July)

As per reports, the Cartel Alfa trade union confederation is organizing a march around Parliament at 1430 hours local time on Monday (14 July). They have also invited all union organizations, regardless of their confederal affiliation, to the protest march between 1430 hours local time and 1830 hours local time.

The protest is against the social and economic policies promoted by the current political class, which are having an adverse impact on the dignity and rights of employees, as per the protesting trade unions.
