As per reports, the Mexico-Puebla highway is experiencing partial closure due to a group of demonstrators protesting against the drilling of a well near the communities of Coronango, Xoxtla, and Tlaltenango on Friday (26 April).

• Caminos y Puentes Federales (Capufe) reported the closure around 1200 hours (local time) on Friday (26 April), resulting in a blockade at kilometer 111 in both directions, causing traffic congestion of up to seven kilometers.
• The latest update suggests that the blockade is still in place, and Capufe has not provided information on when it might be lifted.
