As per reports, protesters have blocked all road accesses and exits to Felipe Ángeles International Airport (AIFA) since around 0600 hours local time on Wednesday (17 July) causing traffic disruptions and kilometer-long lines near Tonanitla in the State of Mexico.

The blockades involve burning tires and heavy vehicles, such as water trucks, preventing vehicles from passing. The affected roads include connections to Ojo de Agua, Nextlalpan, the Iron Bridge in Ecatepec, and the Mexico-Pachuca Highway.
