As per reports, the Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly Alliance for the Protection of the Meiji Shrine Outer Gardens will hold a protest action against the approval of the property disposal of the Chichibu Palace Rugby Field at the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) at 1640 to 1800 hours (local time) on Monday (25 August).

• In addition, the cross-party parliamentary group “Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly League to Stop the Redevelopment of the Meiji Shrine Outer Gardens and Protect Nature, History, and Culture” has issued a protest statement and plans to submit a petition to the Ministry on Monday (25 August).
• At 1640 hours, a protest action will be held in front of the MEXT building.
• At 1700 hours (local time), a submission of a petition will be made to the MEXT.
