As per reports, several hundred residents from Rorotan (North Jakarta), Harapan Indah Bekasi (West Java), and Jakarta Garden City (JGC) Housing in Cakung (East Jakarta) conducted a demonstration in front of the Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF) facility in Rorotan on Friday (21 March).
• The protest began at approximately 1600 hours local time, involving residents of various age groups, including the elderly, adults, and children.
• Demonstrators demanded the permanent closure of the RDF waste processing plant, citing environmental and health concerns.
