As per reports, members of the People’s Unity of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) Employees Union organized a protest sit-in at Islamabad Airport against the privatization of PIA, on Friday (19 December).

• The participants were protesting against the privatization of employees, while they also announced a full-scale effort to stop the privatization.
• The new date for the auction of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has been announced and the government’s preparations are underway.
