As per reports, protestors have gathered at the main gates of Columbia University on 116th Street and Amsterdam Avenue on Monday (24 March) afternoon following an ’emergency vigil’ held by Columbia University professors on Monday (24 March) morning.

The ’emergency vigil’ which occured Monday (24 March) morning was reportedly in response to significant policy changes following the university’s agreement to several demands from the Trump administration in exchange for the restoration of USD 400 million in federal funding.
