As per reports, local leaders, “Bhumiputra” community members, and supporters of the late farmer leader Dinkar Balu Patil (D.B. Patil) have announced a large-scale protest march at Navi Mumbai International Airport on Monday (06 October).
• The protest march will begin from Ganpatsheth Tandel Ground in Karave village and proceed to the Reti Bandar Gate of the airport.
• Organisers have asserted that only a written notification from the Union government naming the airport after D.B. Patil will avert the march; otherwise, the inauguration of the airport will face intense resistance and possible operational impacts.
