According to reports, the members of Samajwadi Party (SP) staged a protest in Lucknow on Thursday (01 May). The protest rally began at the SP Metropolitan Office Kaiserbagh and ended near the Collectorate building.

The protests was held against the attack on SP Member of Parliament (MP) Ramji Lal.
