According to reports, the Muslim scholars of Mangaluru staged a protest rally from Milagres College to Clock Tower on Sunday (09 March). The demonstration was staged against the Wakf Amendment Bill proposed by the central government.

Reportedly, around 5000 people participated in the event. A memorandum was also submitted to the central and state governments.
