Protest by Junior College Teachers scheduled in Mumbai on Monday (19 January)

As per reports, the Mumbai Junior College Teachers Association will stage a protest near the office of the deputy director of education at Charni Road, Mumbai, on Monday (19 January). They will begin the procession from Vashi Station and then head towards the deputy director’s office.

Teachers from Mumbai, Mumbai Suburban, Thane, Raigad, and Palghar districts will participate in the protest. The demonstration will be held against the delayed approvals of forms for teachers hired on an urgent basis. Moreover, teachers will also raise concerns regarding their salaries and workload.
