As per reports, authorities have imposed prohibitory orders in Nanded district, Maharashtra. The restrictions will remain in effect from 1800 hours (local time) on Tuesday (15 September) until midnight on Thursday (17 September).
• The Nanded district Superintendent of Police (SP) has issued orders under Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). Permission will not be granted for any kind of protest or agitation during this period.
• The order applies to areas around the District Collectorate, Municipal Corporation, Zilla Parishad, Nanded Tehsil Office, Statue of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar, Mahatma Gandhi Statue area, Government Ayurvedic College, Government Medical College, Vazirabad and other areas of Nanded city.
• No permission will be granted for any kind of agitation in the notified areas during the period covered by the order.
