As per reports, a pro-Palestine demonstration was held in Central London on Saturday (06 January) to put pressure on Parliament to back a ceasefire in Gaza ahead of its return next week. From Birdcage Walk protesters made their way towards Parliament Square as they stopped traffic on their way to Westminster Bridge.

Metropolitan Police attempted to break up the protest by leading multiple ringleaders away from the area.
