As per reports, Palestine Solidarity Secretariat (SSP), which organised the five-day picket in front of the United States Embassy here in December, has announced a rally in Kuala Lumpur on Saturday (02 March).

• The rally called “Himpunan Solidariti Demi Palestin” (Malay for Palestine Solidarity Gathering) will commence at 1400 hours with a march from the Lembaga Tabung Haji headquarters to Padang Merbok, passing by the United States Embassy along the way.
• However, Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) has yet to approve the SSP’s request to use Padang Merbok as the assembly point.
• Other planned checkpoints for the rally include the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre and the Renaissance Hotel.
