As per reports, power outages are scheduled across several parts of Cape Town between Thursday (11 September) and 30 September. According to the City of Cape Town, the eight-hour interruptions are required for essential maintenance on critical electricity infrastructure.

• In Belgravia Estate, power outages are scheduled from 0830 hours to 1630 hours (local time) on Thursday (11 September). The affected areas include Veld Road, Canal Road, and Voël Road.
• In Crawford, power outages are scheduled from 0830 hours to 1630 hours (local time) on 16 September. The affected areas include Crawford Road, Tanner Road, and the Hart Road substation.
• In Newfields, power outages are scheduled from 0830 hours to 1630 hours (local time) on 25 September. The affected areas include Bakker Road, Primrose Street, Lodewyk Road, and the Gideon Road substations.
• In Lansdowne, power outages are scheduled from 0830 hours to 1630 hours (local time) on 30 September. The affected areas include Cotte Road, Hoek Street, and the Portia Street substations.
