As per reports, on Sunday (10 March), Hanover experienced numerous power outages affecting over 5,000 people in both Hanover and Penn Township, as well as around 900 in McSherrystown and Oxford Township.
• The disruptions were attributed to a day of high winds and snow showers in York and Adams counties.
• Traffic lights, including those on Hanover’s center square, were among the affected areas. When traffic lights lose power, drivers are advised to treat them as four-way stops.
