As per reports, a power outage commenced in central and western Kent County, Delaware, on Saturday (13 December) amid ongoing winter weather conditions. The incident occurred following a transmission service interruption to a Delaware Electric Cooperative (DEC) substation.
The outage impacted approximately 2,500 customers within the service area, specifically within the towns of Harrington and Felton. DEC has not announced a specific estimated time of restoration for affected customers, as restoration relies on the transmission provider to restore service to the substation.
