As per reports, the City of Cape Town will conduct essential electricity infrastructure maintenance on Wednesday (30 April), in Surrey Estate and Heideveld. The maintenance work will take place from 0830 hours (local time) to 1600 hours (local time).

• This is the final of four planned maintenance sessions scheduled for April.
• The maintenance will impact specific areas, including Corridor Road, Groenberg Road, and Plateau Road.
• The City of Cape Town has advised that power could be restored at any time during the maintenance window.
• Electrical installations should be treated as live, and appliances should be switched off to avoid damage from power surges when the power is restored.
