As per reports, heavy police deployment was implemented in the Chhatarpur area of Delhi on Tuesday (02 June), after family members of a 17-year-old gunshot victim and residents staged a protest at CDR Chowk, alleging inadequate action against those responsible for the incident.
Protesters also demanded swift justice ahead of the victim’s last rites, leading to road blockades and significant traffic disruptions in the area. In response, the police imposed barricades on roads leading to the locality and deployed additional personnel to maintain law and order.
