As per reports, Taiwan Water Company has announced a planned water supply suspension and pressure reduction affecting parts of Taoyuan City and New Taipei City on Monday (29 June) and Tuesday (30 June) to facilitate electrical equipment inspections and pipeline improvement works.
Following are the latest updates available:
• More than 290,000 households and customers are expected to be affected by water supply interruptions or reduced water pressure during the maintenance period.
• Linkou District, parts of Bade District and Dayuan District will experience a full district-wide water suspension from 0800 to 2400 (local time) on 29 June (16 hours).
• Parts of Taoyuan District and Luzhu District will experience water suspension from 0800 (local time) on 29 June until 0200 (local time) on 30 June (18 hours)
• Parts of Guishan District will experience the longest interruption, with water supply suspended from 0800 ( local time) on 29 June until 0500 (local time) on 30 June (21 hours).
• Additional neighborhoods in Taoyuan District will experience reduced water pressure from 0800 to 1800 (local time) on 29 June (10 hours) rather than a complete supply interruption.
