As per reports, Caltrans has announced a series of overnight lane reductions and ramp closures along the I-405 Freeway through the Sepulveda Pass, effective from Monday (30 March) through Saturday (04 April), as part of the ongoing I-405 Sepulveda Pass Pavement Rehabilitation Project.
• Closures are scheduled nightly from 2100 hours local time (0400 hours UTC) through 0600 hours local time (1300 hours UTC), Monday (30 March) through Saturday (04 April), for K-rail installation and electrical works forming part of the USD 143.7 million I-405 Sepulveda Pass Pavement Rehabilitation Project between Van Nuys and Westwood.
• On the northbound I-405, up to two lanes are subject to intermittent closure across three segments: between Sepulveda and Victory boulevards; between Wilshire Boulevard and Skirball Center/Mulholland drives; and between Skirball Center/Mulholland drives and Sepulveda Boulevard.
• On the southbound I-405, up to two lanes are subject to intermittent closure across four segments: between Skirball Center/Mulholland drives and Wilshire Boulevard; between Skirball Center Drive and Sepulveda Boulevard; between US-101 and Skirball Center/Mulholland drives; and between Victory Boulevard and US-101.
• Several on-ramps and off-ramps are additionally subject to intermittent closure during the nightly works windows, including the northbound off-ramp to Getty Center Drive, the Skirball Center Drive on-ramp to northbound I-405, the Sepulveda Boulevard on-ramp to northbound I-405, and the Victory Boulevard on-ramp to southbound I-405.
