As per reports, the Secretaría Distrital de Movilidad (SDM) has confirmed the Pico y Placa vehicular circulation restrictions applicable in Bogotá, Distrito Capital, on Monday (24 August), covering both private vehicles and taxis operating within the city.

• Private vehicles with licence plates ending in the digits one, two, three, four and five are restricted from circulation in Bogotá from 0600 hours to 2100 hours local time (1100 hours to 0200 hours UTC) on Monday (24 August). Vehicles with plates ending in six, seven, eight, nine and zero may circulate without restriction under the measure.
• Taxis with licence plates ending in the digits nine and zero are restricted from circulation from 0530 hours to 2100 hours local time (1030 hours to 0200 hours UTC) on Monday (24 August). Taxis with plates ending in one, two, three, four, five, six, seven and eight may circulate without restriction under the measure.
• Drivers wishing to be exempt from the Pico y Placa restriction may register for the Pico y Placa Solidario scheme, which permits unrestricted circulation upon payment via the official platform of the SDM.
• The SDM has confirmed that the sole authorised channel for accessing and paying for the Pico y Placa Solidario is its official website at www.movilidadbogota.gov.co, with payment processed exclusively via the PSE button on the official portal.
