According to reports, the North East India Petroleum Dealers’ Association (NEIPDA) Greater Guwahati Unit has announced a complete shutdown of all retail outlets under its jurisdiction from 0500 hours on Saturday (30 March) to 0500 hours on Monday (01 April).
The decision to initiate the protest arises from concerns regarding the absence of updates or revisions in the Dealers’ Commission since 2017, along with escalating expenses associated with operating Retail Outlets, and the lack of adjustments in commission rates.
