As per reports, the City of Marburg has announced a partial closure of Zeppelinstraße due to water main replacement works. The disruption is scheduled to be in effect from Monday (15 December) to Friday (19 December) throughout the day.
• During this period, traffic heading towards Marburg South Station (Südbahnhof) may be temporarily diverted via Cappeler Straße and Frauenbergstraße. Pedestrians are expected to be able to use the sidewalk on the opposite side of the road. Travel from the South Station towards the city center and the Lahnberge hills may remain possible as usual.
• Additionally, the City of Marburg has confirmed temporary changes to bus services in the South Station area during the construction period. The affected routes include bus lines One, Two, Four, Six, Seven, 15, 19, and 22, as well as intercity lines MR-80, MR-81, and MR-86.
• Depending on the route, some stops at the Südbahnhof may not be served. As alternatives, buses may stop at Südbahnhof Nord/Konrad-Adenauer-Brücke and Rollwiesenweg, depending on the line.
