As per reports, Panguni Pongal festival will be celebrated at the Sri Parasakthi Mariamman Temple in Virudhunagar from Sunday (05 April) till Sunday (12 April). The program scheduled is –

• Sunday (05 April) – Commencement of festival celebrations.
• Monday (06 April) – Rope throwing and firecracker celebrations.
• Tuesday (07 April) – A chariot procession is scheduled.
• Wednesday (08 April) – Chariot trail viewing is scheduled.
• Thursday (09 April) – Yellow water immersion and flag lowering will be conducted.
• Sunday (12 April) – The festival will conclude.
