The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) issued a weather forecast at 0400 hours (local time) on Sunday (05 July), with isolated rainfall and thunderstorm conditions expected.
• Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainfall or thunderstorms are forecast over Cagayan Valley, Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, Aurora, Quezon and Dinagat Islands due to the easterlies.
• Metro Manila and the rest of the Philippines are expected to experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainfall or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms, with similar risks of flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorm activity.
• Light to moderate winds are expected over parts of the Philippines.
• Slight to moderate coastal conditions with wave heights of 0.6 to 1.5 meters are forecast along the eastern section of Luzon, while the rest of Luzon is expected to experience wave heights of 0.6 to 1.5 meters.
• Visayas and the eastern section of Mindanao are likely to experience wave heights of 0.6 to 1.2 meters, while the rest of Mindanao is expected to see wave heights of 0.6 to 1.2 meters.
