The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) has forecast isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms across the Philippines on Friday (17 July).
• Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, Abra, Batanes and the Babuyan Islands are expected to experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to the Southwest Monsoon.
• Metro Manila and the rest of the country are expected to experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to localised thunderstorms. Severe thunderstorms may result in flash floods or landslides in susceptible areas.
