According to reports, nine areas in the country are forecast to experience a danger level heat index on Friday (04 April), Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) stated in its daily forecast.
• As per its 1700 hours bulletin on Thursday (03 April), the state weather bureau predicted that Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur could experience a 45 degrees Celsius heat index on Friday (04 April).
• Dagupan City, Pangasinan could reach up to 44 degrees Celsius.
• Coron, Palawan; San Jose, Occidental Mindoro; Puerto Princesa City, Palawan; Virac (Synop), Catanduanes; Iloilo City; Dumangas, Iloilo and Butuan City, Agusan del Norte could reach a temperature of 42 degrees Celsius.
