As per reports, the A33 Basingstoke Road is scheduled to close overnight between Winchester Bypass and Winchester Road near Dummer for five consecutive nights from Monday (20 July) to Saturday (25 July) to facilitate resurfacing works by Hampshire County Council.

• The road is scheduled to remain closed between 2100 hours local time (2000 hours UTC) and 0600 hours local time (0500 hours UTC) each night, with all through traffic required to follow the signed diversion route.
• Alternative journeys may add approximately 17 minutes for shorter trips and up to one hour for longer journeys.
• The precise closure periods remain dependent on weather conditions, and motorists should observe the yellow information boards positioned at the limits of the works.
