As per reports, the New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA) has announced that State Highway 29 over the Kaimai Range will be closed from Sunday (14 July) to Wednesday (17 July) between 2000 to 0330 hours each night, to facilitate maintenance works.
• Closure points on the western (Waikato) side will be at the intersections of SH29/24 and SH29/28, and on the Bay of Plenty side at the SH29/Cambridge Rd intersection.
• Emergency service vehicles will have unrestricted access, and residents will be able to reach their properties from the relevant side of the closure.
