As per reports, the East Motor Way, located between South Tejon Street and Motor City Drive in downtown Colorado Springs, is scheduled to be closed overnight beginning at 1900 hours (local time) on Wednesday (16 April), and is scheduled to reopen at 0500 hours (local time) on Thursday (17 April).

• This temporary closure is part of the ongoing improvements along the Nevada and Tejon Street corridor.
• The closure is necessary to allow construction crews to install new roadway signage and striping.
• Detours for Westbound traffic on East Motor Way should take South Tejon Street south to Brookside Street, then travel west to reach Motor City Drive.
• Detours for Eastbound traffic should proceed to Woodburn Street, then drive south to Brookside Street and head east to South Tejon Street.
• The construction schedule is dependent on weather conditions and may be subject to change.
