According to reports, over 10,000 cases of dengue infections have been recorded in the month of December 2023 alone, bringing the total number of infections reported to 87,078 on Friday (29 December).

The highest number of infections were recorded from the Colombo, Gampaha and Kalutara districts. So far three dengue related deaths have been reported.
