As per the forecast issued by the India Meteorological Department, on Tuesday (02 January), orange alerts for fog have been issued in districts including Agra, Kannauj, Meerut, Bijnor, Baghpath, Moradabad, Bareilly, etc. while yellow alerts for fog have been issued in districts including Gautambudh Nagar, Ghaziabad, Lucknow, Barabanki, Sitapur, Jaunpur, Gorakhpur, etc.
