As per reports, Météo-France has issued an orange vigilance for strong winds in parts of Hauts-de-France for Monday (15 April).

• The warning has been issued for the departments of Somme, Pas-de-Calais and Nord, where wind gusts of up to 110 kmph are expected.
• Météo-France also predicts wind gusts between 70-80kmph from Brittany to the Channel coast, with gusts between 60-80 kmph, going up to 90-100 kmph locally in the north of Hauts-de-France being predicted during the afternoon hours.
• Authorities have issued several traffic management measures in these areas between 1100-1800 hours (local time) on Monday (15 April) in light of the severe weather. This includes limiting the speed of motor vehicles whose total authorized weight (GVW) is less than 3.5 tonnes. Further, overtaking maneuvers are prohibited and maximum speed limits have been reduced to 80 kmph for heavy motor vehicles on all national roads and motorways in the affected areas.
